Israel Rejects US Ceasefire Plan in Favor of Twelve Hour Halt to Hostilities

As hostilities continue to rage between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, efforts by U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, were wholeheartedly rejected by Benjamin Netanyahu’s security cabinet. A breakthrough occurred on Friday afternoon when the Israeli prime minister notified the US secretary of state that Israel would commence with a twelve hour ceasefire beginning on Saturday morning.
